I love being on retreat!
Having attended more than 25 of them myself, ranging from long weekends of yoga through to 3 weeks of silence and intensive meditation, I am fully and deeply convinced of the power of taking time away from your everyday life in a quiet, reflective space, where practices focus attention, clear the mind, rebalance the body and bring perspective and insight back into our lives. I have led or co-facilitated twenty retreats since 2003, offering a range of yoga, meditation, coaching, mindful movement, breathwork and creative group activities.
I am a founding Director of Brainworks Retreats where I teach yoga, meditation, breathwork and offer coaching. These life-changing weeks integrate applied neuroscience (neurofeedback and neurofield) to literally help your brain reprogramme itself, supported by optimum nutrition and bodywork. Runnning in beautiful locations in France, Costa Rica and the UK, our retreats leave you with scientifically evidenced new patterns which provide a foundation for long-term change.
Kate has co-facilitated many other kinds of retreats, including creative weekends for women, and yoga and breathwork retreats in France, the UK and Ibiza.
